In the alumni talk, Daniel Kajan, former student in the Management Sciences department, talks about his career, which also included strong involvement in the student council and important stations in Vietnam and Sweden during his studies. Our alumnus has gained experience both in the German Mittelstand and in consulting.

As Director Business Operations at a medium-sized mechanical engineering company, business administration graduate Daniel Kajan now has classic management tasks: He coordinates the processes between the various specialist departments to ensure that the company's production runs smoothly. He has gained experience both in German SMEs and in consulting. Together with Professor Robert Grüter, responsible for the Business Management (BSc) degree programme at H-BRS, he discusses in the programme what first-year students should bring with them and what they can expect when they start studying Business Management at H-BRS.

The episode with Daniel Kajan is the third in the series "Roadmap - The Alumni Talk". The next livestream is planned for November 2025.

"Roadmap - The Alumni Talk" is a joint project: the entire technical implementation is in the hands of students from the Visual Technical Communication and Technical Journalism degree programmes. Under the direction of their lecturer Sabine Fricke, the studio crew regularly realise their own projects in the university's own television studio. The Communication and Marketing staff unit (with film editing and the Alumni Office) is responsible for the content of the Alumni Talk programme. The programme is hosted by Pascal Schröder, science editor in the staff unit.
