Farewell to university president Hartmut Ihne (Gallery)
A highly emotional farewell to Professor Hartmut Ihne: the President of H-BRS was given a ceremonial send-off in the Audimax in Sankt Augustin on 28 October 2024. Around 400 guests attended, including numerous university members, representatives from the academic landscape, politics, business, society, culture and the media industry. The speakers were NRW Science Minister Ina Brandes, Professor Michael Hoch, Rector of the University of Bonn, and Professor Hans-Hennig von Grünberg, long-standing President of the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences.
