The Head of Communications and Marketing (StabKM) is responsible for the overall internal and external image of Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg and plans and coordinates the individual areas of the staff unit.

The Communications and Marketing staff unit bundles various functions for the external presentation of the university. These include press and public relations work including the website, social media, film production and sustainability communication, internal communication, central university marketing, central university events, corporate design and alumni management. The team consists of 15 employees.

The head of the staff unit advises the President's Office and the university divisions on public relations and marketing issues. His other tasks currently include managing the Communications Working Group in the Sustainability Alliance for Applied Sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia (NAW.NRW).
