Contents Sustainable Engineering (Meng)

The degree programme is aimed at students interested in technology with the career goal of becoming an engineer who would like to contribute to sustainable development and for whom the consideration of ecological, economic and social aspects in the development of technical systems is a concern.

The degree programme addresses technical innovations as substantial drivers of sustainable development and teaches the integration of sustainability criteria into the planning and development of technical systems. The programme focuses on technical systems in the energy and mobility sector. Issues of digitalisation (in particular Energy 4.0 and Mobility 4.0) are also addressed both in the core module and in the specialisation and elective subjects, and internationality is emphasised in the elective subjects in particular in order to prepare students for a future international working environment.
