The professional world in the media sector is changing rapidly as a result of the digital transformation. Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg has invited media professionals to a public lecture series to present their respective fields of work, but also to describe the challenges and changes that digitisation is bringing to their professional field. Philip Kistner, architectural photographer, will be a guest on 8 January. The event will be held in German.

"We experience most buildings through pictures without ever having visited them."

Architecture is more than the finished building and there are many exciting stories to tell: the initial idea for the project, the reasons for the location, the challenges during construction or the people who live in or use it. In his lecture "Thinking architectural photography further", Philip Kistner talks about how architectural photography can document more than just the building with many content pieces over a long period of time.
