Cooperation opportunities with the University of New Brunswick, Canada

The purpose of the visit was to explore further cooperation opportunities between the two universities. Representatives from all faculties presented their programmes, with a focus on English-language programmes, and discussed with the guests where the two universities could benefit from each other. During their visit, the guests met with the Department of Business and Economics (Sonja Atai and Karsten Heinrich), the Department of Computer Science (Prof. Dr. Rainer Herpers, Nadine Kutz and Luana Eickmeyer), the Department of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Technical Journalism (Prof. Dr. Iris Groß and Prof. Dr. Kutz), and the Department of Business and Economics (Prof. Dr. Iris Groß). Dr. Iris Groß and Prof. Dr. Alejandro Valenzuela), the Department of Natural Sciences (Prof. Dr. Annette Menke and Prof. Dr. Michael Heinzelmann) and the Department of Social Policy and Social Security (Friederike Windhofer).

UNB is a long standing cooperation partner of the Department of Computer Science with a dual degree programme in Master of Computer Science (M.Sc.) or Master of Autonomous Systems (M.Sc.). Following the successful discussions we have agreed to move towards deepening our cooperation and broadening student exchange to other University departments.
