International Networks and Projects in Teaching and Research

Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences is very active in teaching as well as in applied research internationally and leads many projects in cooperation with international partners, or is involved with topics relating to global development.

The University supports the central academic institution B-IT (Bonn-Aachen International Center for Information Technology) together with the University of Bonn, the RWTH Aachen and the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems in Sankt Augustin.

The University is a member of the European Universities Association EUA, which only admits universities with a strong research record.

In the framework of the ERASMUS+ programme the University cooperates with about 30 universities in Europe and a further 30 outside Europe.

Due to the recognition of the University as a research institution, according to the EU guidelines by the Federal Office (Bundesamt) for Migration, international guest scientists staying for a longer period can be fast-tracked through the visa procedure.
