All the information you provide will be treated in strict compliance with the relevant data protection regulations. The results will be published in such a way that it will be impossible to identify individual persons.

The following personal data will be used to contact individuals for the purpose of conducting the study and to identify the group to be addressed: gender, name, address, date of birth, course, examination and de-registration date. For address research purposes, your address may if necessary be forwarded to the citizens’ registration office or the Deutsche Post’s ADDRESSFACTORY service. Names and addresses will not be forwarded to ISTAT. Recipients may only use your data for the purpose for which it was transmitted to them.

The data will only be stored for as long as is necessary to conduct the study.

The legal basis for conducting the study are the Evaluation Regulation of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (Evaluationsordnung) and the Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia (Gesetz über die Hochschulen des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen).

What are your rights with regard to your data?

As a data subject, you have the right

• to information about the storage of your personal data as regulated in Article 15 GDPR;

• to rectify incorrect or incomplete data as specified in Article 16 GDPR;

• to have your personal data erased in compliance with Article 17 GDPR provided the grounds specified therein exist.

You may contact the university’s data controller and data protection officer at any time if you wish to exercise these rights.

Complaints regarding the processing of your personal data

You are welcome to contact our data protection officer if you have any questions about the processing of your data. You also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority responsible for Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg:
