At the 18th FrOSCon (Free and Open Software Conference), the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences expects over 1500 participants at the Sankt Augustin campus. FrOSCon is one of the largest open source and free software conferences in Germany. Everyone who is interested is invited to the free event.

What is FrOSCon?
Free Software and Open Source - these are the topics of FrOSCon. Every year in late summer, the Department of Computer Science at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, with the help of FrOSCon e.V., organises an exciting programme of lectures and workshops for visitors of all ages who use Free Software, want to get to know it or develop it themselves. An exhibition with stands of open source projects and companies rounds off the programme. At the social event on Saturday evening, visitors, speakers and helpers can exchange ideas and celebrate together.
