Successful Girl'sDay at the Department of Computer Science

At the ‘Clear the stage - role play in interaction design’ workshop, the students were able to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of interaction design in a playful way and put their creative ideas into practice. In the ‘Deciphering data secrets’ workshop, they learnt more about data security and the hacker mindset behind cyber security in an exciting way.

Another highlight was the exciting workshop at the Institute for Security Research (ISF) entitled ‘Cyber adventures: How hackers challenge IT!’, which gave the students a deeper insight into the sophisticated methods and challenges of IT security. They were also able to experience at first hand how current technologies are redefining the boundaries of computer graphics and virtual reality in the workshop ‘Discover the world of computer graphics, virtual reality and co.’ at the Institute of Visual Computing (IVC).

The Girl'sDay was a complete success and impressively demonstrated how diverse and exciting the world of computer science and visual computer graphics is.
