ICT Summer School 2023 in Helsinki
12 participants from Vietnam, Japan, Hong Kong, Finland and Germany took part in the course on "Colour Science". On the part of the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, there were four female students and three male and female research assistants.
They were to understand the relationship between the perception of colour and its reproduction with technical systems, acquire basic knowledge about the physical and physiological backgrounds and get an overview of possibilities and limitations.
Among other things, the students had to find out whether they are colour-blind, what Heidinger Brushes are and what simultaneous contrast means.
Jung leads the course, which is offered as part of the EU's ERASMUS life-long learning programme. He has already been cooperating with the host Metroplia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki for fifteen years. Within the framework of the Summer School, students can take various one-week and two-week modules and continue their education and networking in an international setting.
