The participants of the summer school course develop solution-oriented models together. Considering a risk analysis, the fundamental defect mechanisms and limits of hardware components as well as the typical mistakes in software components they try to design a failsafe technical system for a dedicated application.
This process requires to guarantee a safe operation even in case of malfunctions of one or more components. By the end of the course the solutions are presented within a robot competition. Please find more information here: "ICT Summer School" .
