The task of the University Election Assembly is to elect the members of the President's Office. The University Election Assembly is made up of members of the Senate and the University Council.

Tasks of the University Election Assembly

The University Election Assembly shall convene at the invitation of its chairperson or deputy chairperson. If there is no Chairperson and no Deputy Chairperson, the University Election Assembly shall meet at the invitation of the Chairpersons of the Senate and the University Council and shall elect a Chairperson and a Deputy Chairperson from among its members in separate ballots by a majority of the votes of its members.

The University Election Assembly invites the candidates recommended by the selection committee as full-time members of the Executive Board or the persons proposed by the President as non-full-time members of the Executive Board to a personal presentation.

The University Election Assembly elects the members of the Executive Board in separate and secret elections from among the candidates who have presented themselves in person. If an election does not materialise, the position of the respective full-time member of the Executive Board is advertised again or the President is asked for a new proposal.
