Schoolgirl research year: discover-try-create

The MINT year for schoolgirls is a unique project run by Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences in collaboration with the Rhein-Sieg district. It is aimed at female students in grades 8 to 10 from all types of schools in the region who want to discover and deepen their enthusiasm for mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology (STEM).

Our aim is to promote girls in STEM fields and give them the opportunity to gain practical experience. Through exciting workshops, excursions and projects, participants can learn about the diversity of STEM professions, break down prejudices and develop their talents in an inspiring environment.

During the STEM year, students can look forward to numerous events both at our university and at various partners in the region. These practice-oriented offers enable them to immerse themselves in the world of science and technology and make contacts that will support them on their further educational and professional path.

Interested schoolgirls, teachers and parents are cordially invited to get in touch with us and find out more about the MINT year for schoolgirls. Together, we will open doors to new opportunities and create prospects for the future.
