6. certificate award ceremony for family-friendly university

Berlin, June 13, 2023. Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences was honored for the 6th time in a row for its family- and life-phase-conscious personnel policy/improvement of family-friendly working and study conditions at the 25th berufundfamilie certificate award ceremony in Berlin on June 13, 2023. The certificate "audit familiengerechte hochschule" was accepted by Barbara Michel, project manager family-friendly university, from the Federal Minister for Family Affairs Lisa Paus MdB and Oliver Schmitz, Managing Director of berufundfamilie Service GmbH.

The university is one of a total of 323 organizations - 140 companies, 148 institutions and 35 universities - that received the award this year. The university first received the audit certificate in 2007, which is regarded as a seal of quality for a sustainable corporate compatibility policy and runs for three years. After a further five re-audits, the university has now been awarded its sixth certificate, which honors its many years of sustainable, family- and life-phase-conscious HR policy/design of family-friendly working and study conditions.
