Foreign applicants with equal status

Following groups are equal to German applicants:

 

  1. foreign applicants who gained their university entrance qualification in the Federal Republic of Germany or at a German school abroad;
  2. applicants from member states of the European Union (EU) and from countries of the European Economic Area (EEA: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway);
  3. applicants residing in Germany, who are not themselves members of an EU or EEA state, but whose family members (spouse, parent) belong to this group of persons and are employed in Germany
  4. non-EU foreigners who have gained the university entrance qualification of an EU/EEA state.
