The professional world in the media sector is changing rapidly as a result of digital transformation. Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences has invited media professionals to take part in a public lecture series, where they will present their respective fields of work and also describe the challenges and changes that digitalization is bringing to their professional field. The series will take place from October 18 to January 17 on Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. in Lecture Hall 7 in Sankt Augustin. On December 13, Ellen Heinrichs, CEO and Founder Bonn Institute, will be a guest. The event will be held in German.
Ellen Heinrichs

Ellen Heinrichs is the founder and managing director of the "Bonn Institute," which has been promoting and teaching constructive journalism since January 2022. She was the only German to date to be a fellow at the Constructive Institute at the University of Aarhus/Denmark. Her career began at the Rheinische Post, from where she moved on to Deutsche Welle via positions at international organizations. There she initiated, among other things, the founding of the internal network DW Minds and the DW Innovation Lab. In her talk, she explains what makes for constructive journalism in times of crisis.
