There are various recording devices available for hire that you need to create audio and video content.
Students on the Technical Journalism and Visual Technical Communication degree programmes can borrow the recording equipment and accessories they need to create audio and video content from the audio/video equipment rental service. To register a loan request, register in the LEA course in the corresponding list.
Before borrowing media for the first time, it is necessary to be familiarised with the corresponding device. During the semester, the media lending desk is open from Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 12:30. During the semester break, please contact Marko Neumann between 12:00 and 12:30.
For students of technical journalism and visual technical communication, there are also several photo camera sets available in the department, which can be borrowed separately. They can be borrowed directly from Frank Seidel's office. There are no special lending times.
The camera sets consist of various Nikon cameras, each containing the camera body, a standard zoom lens, an external flash unit, charger, battery and SD card. After use, the camera must be charged and the SD card formatted. A brief introduction to photography including instructions on how to use the Nikon D7200 and D5200 cameras can be found below.
