Publish in PDF
The most commonly used format for scientific online publications is PDF. This format ensures that the information reaches the reader in the form which the author intended. It's possible saving a document in PDF in most text-processing software.
Please pay special attention to the following when creating a PDF document for publication on the publication server:
- If possible, create your publication as PDF/A. This format was developed specifically for archiving and is particularly well suited for online publications.
- Pay attention to the "File properties" when creating the PDF. Here you can specify information about the author, title and subject, which are used by search engines for indexing.
- Pay attention to your personal data when creating the PDF. Think carefully if you want to publish your address or even a CV in your document.
H-BRS students and researchers can use SciFlow to create documents on their own or in a team. These documents can be exported as Word file, PDF, HTML or JATS export.
