University members can publish videos and audio for academic purposes in teaching, study, research, and further education on the H-BRS's own media portal. With this solution, videos can now be accessed in compliance with data protection regulations, even outside the LEA learning platform.

About the Media Portal

The media portal is a central platform for publishing media for academic purposes in teaching, study, research, and further education. It's similar to YouTube but it is 100% GDPR compliant. It allows you to make content from departments and faculties of the university visible to the public. Additionally, the portal has a responsive design, a video editor, and the option to automatically generate subtitles.

Using the Media Portal and Access Information

No account is needed to view or listen to media. Simply visit the website of the new media portal to access the content. If you wish to upload your own videos or audios to the portal, you can request access by emailing the videoLAB team. The team is also available to assist with any further questions about the media portal.
