b-it-bots vice world champions in RoboCup@Work 2014
This year, the RoboCup world championships took place in João Pessoa, Brazil. It has been the first world cup for the new team members and they managed already to get 2nd. Vice world champions!
From the beginning of the tournament until almost the final round, the b-it-bots had a close race with the smARTLab@Work team (Liverpool) competing for the first and second place. But also the distance to the remaining positions in the ranking was not very large, so that in principle every team could still rank first, if one or the other team would fail in the final. Unfortunately, this happened to the LUHbots team from Hannover and they lost their chances for the 2nd and even 3rd place. Surprisingly, the new team Lyon CPE made it to the 3rd place which was also not in their expectations before the competition.

- WF Wolves (640 points)
- Robotica UBM (did not appear)
- Robo-Erectus (did not appear)
