The new dates for the examination for the DAAD Language Certificate English have been fixed and can now be booked in LEA. The DAAD Language Certificate serves as proof of your English language skills and is required for some scholarships, study programs or internships abroad.

For the second time, Mariia Dorosh, professor of Software Engineering at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University (CPNU), is visiting the Department of Computer Science at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (H-BRS) as part of the DAAD internship program. Her visit is a testament to the ongoing academic collaboration between the two institutions.

H-BRS COMPANY DAY 2024 - Career fair for students and young professionals. On 13 and 14 November 2024, the Company Day will take place for the 23rd time on the Sankt Augustin Campus from 10 am to 4 pm. With over 150 exhibitors, the Company Day is the largest career fair in the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg district.

From algorithm to virtual AI avatar - how generative AI and AR change teaching and learning spaces
As part of the scholarship programme for high- performing MINT students (‘MINT TANK’), the Hans Riegel Foundation organises a congress every two years with an exciting and interdisciplinary programme. On 21 September 2024, H-BRS researchers Daryoush Vaziri, David Golchinfar and Alexander Marquardt gave a workshop at this congress in Brühl near Cologne on the topic of ‘From algorithm to virtual AI avatar - how generative AI and augmented realities are changing teaching and learning spaces’.

PeP@H-BRS organises workshop at the FH-Personal strategy workshop
The PeP@H-BRS project took part in the third strategy workshop of the federal-state programme "UAS Personnel" on 12 and 13 September 2024. Sylvia Müller and Marlene Nunnendorf led a workshop on tandem programmes that support postdocs on the path to a UAS professorship. The project is led by Prof Dr Remi Maier-Rigaud.

Am 24. September 2024 fand die Einführungsveranstaltung für die neuen Erstsemester im Studiengang B.A. Nachhaltige Sozialpolitik statt. Über 60 Erstsemester hatten sich eingefunden, um ihre Reise in ein spannendes und zukunftsweisendes Studium zu beginnen.
