Roustiam Chakirov receives honorary Ukrainian doctorate

The award was accepted in person by the Professor of Control Systems Engineering from Professor Oleksandr Velihorskyi, the head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Ukrainian university. Velihorskyi had come to Germany in line with the research cooperation with H-BRS. The cooperation received financial support from the German Academic Exchange Service.

The shared research work has already borne fruit in the form of articles and conference contributions. Joint applications for the European “Horizon 2020” funding program have also been submitted and a third-party funded project has been completed in conjunction with a company in the Bonn region.
