Padmaja Kulkarni wins Silvia Coradeschi RoboCup Award
Master student Padmaja Kulkarni went to the RoboCup WorldCup in Nagoya as a member of the b-it bots team. She comes back not only with a respectable fourth place in the competition but was also awarded the Silvia Coradeschi RoboCup Award for aspiring young female scientists with promising research in the field of robotics.

The Silvia Coradeschi RoboCup Award has been awarded since 2014 to a young female RoboCup student with distinguishing research. The prize was introduced to honor the memory of RoboCup founding trustee Prof. Silvia Coradeschi who died in February 2014. She was an early visionary of the initiative and is greatly missed by the community.
