H-BRS at the IEEE Virtual Reality 2017 in L.A.

This year, once again, the Institute of Visual Computing will have a strong presence at the worlds leading conference on virtual reality and 3D user interfaces, IEEE VR in Los Angeles.

As well as a Workshop Paper by Phillip Frericks et al. (SEARIS workshop, presented by Professor André Hinkenjann), Dr Ernst Kruijff is presenting a poster, a full paper, a tutorial (all on 3D navigation) and a workshop on augmented reality, in cooperation with partners at the Simon Fraser University (Canada), Osaka University (Japan) and Virginia Tech (USA).

Kruijff will also be presenting the recently published "3D User Interfaces - Theory and Practice" (Addison-Wesley, second Edition), which he co-authored and which has become established as a leading global reference work on 3D user interfaces.
