64 students from five European universities took part in the programme. They came from Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Høgskolen i Sør-Trøndelag (HiST, Trondheim, Norway), Hogeskool van Amsterdam (HvA, The Netherlands), Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain) and Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University (BRSU, Germany). They worked together and competed against each other in ten mixed teams thereby also learning international teambuilding. All teams specified and created good robot designs during the two weeks of the programme.

The Jury was composed of professors Tore Berg Hansen (HiST), Thomas Breuer (BRSU), Antonio Sanches (UPV) and Simo Silander (Metropolia). After extensive tests and an in-depth debate team ten was declared victor. Team five claimed the title in the category "Best Specification".

During the programme the participants took lectures on the latest trends in research and technology in the field of robot security. They worked together in varying groups on tasks revolving around programming robots to increase their security and safety. The students implemented their ideas and projects using Lego Mindstorms NXT robots.
