On 6 April, Professor Marco Winzker visited the German-Jordan University of Amman (DJU) to have talks with the Dean and the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science.

The Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences has been a DJU partner since 2007 and ensures vivid exchange by enabling Jordan students to spend a study semester with a subsequent practical period on our University's two campuses every year.

In summer the German-Jordan University will be moving into larger buildings in Madaba, 30 kilometres south of Amman. There are plans to further strengthen cooperation in the area of Master's degree programmes, too.

Winzker is the Vice Dean of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Technical Journalism and visited the German-Jordan University alongside a conference on university didactics in Amman.
