Guest researcher from Simbabwe

Dr Mathew Mupa is actively involved in the working group run by Prof. Dr Steffen Witzleben at Rheinbach. Unfortunately his stay in Germany, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), already ends in February.

Dr Mathew Mupa studied chemistry at TH Leuna-Merseburg and obtained his PhD at Leopold Franzens University, Innsbruck, with his thesis on "Syntheses of functionalized polymers for analytical applications". The topic of his thesis was derived from the area of analytical chemistry, which is one of his research focuses. Apart from that, he conducts research on polymer chemistry and substance separation.

When his guest stay expires, Mupa will return to Simbabwe, where he works as a lecturer and researcher at the Bindura University of Science Education.
