Sustainability in the library: eco receipts

Library receipts on environmentally friendly paper

The library receipts (e.g. loan receipt) are now printed on blue paper. Not only has the colour changed but the paper is in many ways more sustainable than the one used before:

- paper from sustainable forestry.
- the receipts can be put in the waste paper after use.
- the printing is sunlight resistant, i.e. the receipt can be stored indefinitely without fading.
- the receipt is free of bisphenol.

If you would like to borrow media without a printout, you can use the self-service between the shelves (Sankt Augustin: 2nd floor), where you will receive an e-mail instead.
