University elections 2020 postponed again

Due to the corona pandemic, the President's Office has postponed the elections of student members in the departmental councils, the senate, the equal opportunities commission and the representation of the interests of student assistants to 25 and 26 May 2021. The elections will therefore take place within the framework of the next regular university elections.

Due to the current situation and the drastic measures adopted by the German government and prime ministers to contain the corona pandemic, it will not be possible to hold the elections on November 24 and 25, 2020.

At the by-election of the university elections originally scheduled for May 2020, the student representatives on the university committees should have been elected. Usually, the elections of the student councils and the student parliament are held parallel to the university elections.
