Training in Higher Education Didactics for Teaching Assitants

To support you in your role as a teaching assistant, we offer you further training in higher education didactics specifically tailored to your needs.

Whether you are a newly appointed teaching assistant or an 'old hand' in higher education didactics: Our new series of workshops will provide you with an ideal introduction to teaching, as well as new ideas for planning and delivering your courses.

Our workshop series consists of three modules, delivered digitally in small groups of up to 12 participants per module. Each module takes place over two days and lasts three hours each.

These modules can be booked individually according to your individual interests and schedule. Missed modules can be made up at a later time. The modules are not sequential, so you do not need to follow a particular order.

The next dates for 2023 as well as details and registration links for the three modules will be available here soon.

In order to participate in our workshops, you must be currently teaching at H-BRS in the semester in which the module/workshop takes place. Participation in a module is free of charge, except for travel expenses. Other regulations concerning the training of teaching assistants do not apply.
Teaching assistants who are employed at another university should first take advantage of the training offered there. In such cases, participation is only possible in exceptional cases and after consultation with the President’s Commissioner for didactical training.
