AG Künstliche Intelligenz

Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Neural Networks. These and similar keywords are gaining importance in many disciplines. According to our mission statement "Leitbild Lehre" at H-BRS, it is important to us that our learning/teaching content is practice-oriented and up-to-date.

The Working Grop "AG Künstliche Intelligenz" (Artificial Intelligence) connects all interested lecturers at H-BRS who are dealing with AI. It does not matter whether you are dealing with method development for AI, computer architectures, scaling issues, or application scenarios. Through networking, we want to make existing knowledge visible, enable mutual support, and stimulate exchange of experience.

In the short to medium term, it should be a milestone to bundle the AI know-how of as many protagonists as possible within the university. To this end, the Working Group will also compare topics and projects with existing business and research partners in terms of their relevance to their teaching content, in relation to AI. At the same time, AI should not be thought of purely as a branch of technology, but rather with the dimensions of sustainability and social responsibility.

One of the main focus of this particular Working Group is the didactic transfer of AI knowledge. We exchange ideas on how students can acquire competencies by teaching fundamentals, application tasks and project-based teaching.
