coSTARK career coaching for international Students
What is coSTARK career coaching?
Career coaching offers international students the opportunity to receive professional advice and intensive support from trained student coaches on issues relevant to their studies and careers (currently online). This should make it easier for them to find their way into professional practice.
The content of the coaching is based on the individual needs of the international students. Topics from previous years included overcoming individual challenges in the application process or strengthening resources and self-reflection.
The coaches are trained at the university by Prof. Ianiro-Dahm and are students of the Master's programme in Business Psychology. The project was awarded the teaching prize by the University of Applied Sciences 2020.

Procedure
Do you fit the target group? Then apply by Friday, 6 October 2023.
What then? You will receive timely feedback as to whether you can participate in the coaching.
Accepted? If you have been given a place, you will meet your coach at the get-to-know-you workshop on 18.10.23 in the time from 10 to 11 am.
What happens next? This will be followed by five individually tailored coaching sessions during the winter semester- each lasting approximately 1-1.5 hours. The coaching sessions take place in person or online, depending on the agreement with the coach.

"I found everything very interesting, especially because it was offered as part of the business psychology programme for international students. You can talk to a student who already has more experience.
My question was which major to choose in the 4th semester. I wanted to talk to someone who had already studied it and could advise me as a psychologist/coach - with regard to my strengths.

Maybe a tip for future clients: I was a bit tired at one of the appointments and that's why I didn't really get into it. So you should always be well rested and fit so that the appointment is successful."
