• we interact with each other all times in a respectful and appreciative manner.
• we have the courage to recognise mistakes as an opportunity for further development.
• we promote the development of personalities who take responsibility for themselves and their environment, respecting and promoting human rights.
• we enjoy learning together and learn from each other.

 3. We teach and learn using appropriate methods.

It is important to us that...

• the learning process is designed to be brain-friendly, connecting new information with familiar cognitive concepts.
• teachers engage in regular professional development.
• the teaching methods and concepts are continuously reflected upon and evaluated to develop them in a needs-based manner
• teaching methods activate students, preventing a consumer-oriented mindset.

4. We teach and learn in an environment that supports teaching and learning.

• the infrastructure is functional and up-to-date.

The Executive Board and Senate of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences approved the "Teaching Mission Statement" in the original German version in June 2020.
