MAS graduate Arun Prabhu wins 2nd place AFCEA award for his master's thesis

We are happy to announce that our graduate Arun Prabhu has been awarded a second-place AFCEA prize for his master’s thesis “An investigation of regression as an avenue to find precision-runtime trade-off for object segmentation”, which was supervised by our Prof. Plöger and Prof. André Hinkenjann from the Visual Computing Institute. Arun defended his thesis in August 2020 and is currently working as a research associate in the Visual Computing Institute at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg.
