PhD Day

For the first time on 20 June 2014 the doctoral students of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University meet to get to know each other and to mutual exchange of experience.

Organized by the representatives of doctoral students the shared afternoon begins at 3:00 pm with a General Assembly of doctoral students in which they are informed about the current activities of the Graduate Institute and the events of the winter semester.

Following this, Nico Hochgeschwender, Martin Schenk and Michaela Thelen will present their research project in the context of a doctoral seminar. The afternoon ends in a relaxed atmosphere with barbecue and public viewing of the football match Germany – United States. The supervisors of the doctoral students are invited to participate in the seminar and the following get-together.

The organizers are supported by the student council of Department of Computer Science in the implementation of the feast. They are looking forward to a lively exchange.
