Printing in the library

Use the public PCs or the printing station (computer in the technical room) or your own devices.

Mobile device

• Connect with the library WIFI Bib-access (library number and MIA-password) and use the website Bib-Print / PaperCut: https://bib-print.bib.h-brs.de/  - switch to English if desired
  Login: libray number and MIA-password

Public PCs or printing station in the library

• Start Bib-Print (on the desktop of the print station or on the public PC) and enter your library number and your MIA password there. Now you can top up your print account under "Redeem voucher".
• Start the print job in your document, the printer is preset.

Generally applies

• You can only print in black and white on A4.
• To print, you need a credit code (voucher), which you can buy at the service counter for 0.50 euros, 1.00 euros, 2.00 euros, 5.00 euros or 10.00 euros. Note: The price per printed page is 0.05 Euro (i.e. a double-sided print costs 0.10 Euro).
• In Bib-Print: click on jobs for approval >> "print" (the printout starts).
• Pick up your printouts at the printer. Stapler and hole puncher are also available there.
• The print jobs are ready for you for 72 hours. You can collect several print jobs and then have them printed at the same time.

Tips for printing:

Always open pdf documents in Acrobat Reader first and print from Acrobat Reader!

Save documents created in Microsoft Office programs as pdf documents before printing them on our printers! (So that the formatting is not changed by OpenOffice).

Save PowerPoint presentations as pdf documents first. This considerably reduces the amount of data to be transferred to the printer and makes printing faster!
