Cooperation Partner German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV)

The German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) provides its members (commercial social accident insurance institutions and public-sector accident insurance institutions) with a range of study opportunities tailored to their needs; this as a means of access to the senior, non-technical service. The private, state-recognized university of the statutory accident insurance institutions, Bad Hersfeld, and, on the basis of a cooperation agreement, the Department of Social Policy and Social Security of the state university of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, Hennef, are active in this field.

In this regard, both universities have jointly designed a 6-semester dual BA course in "Social Insurance, Focus on Accident Insurance". In close cooperation, they each offer this course of study independently at their universities.

The BA program at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences is accredited by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA).

The program starts once a year in both universities in the winter semester (beginning of September).

The students have signed a work and study contract with the accident insurance institutions (commercial employers' liability insurance associations and public-sector accident insurance institutions) in advance and then come to study at one of the universities mentioned. The DGUV coordinates and regulates the assignment of future students to the above-mentioned universities. The aim here is to determine the future place of study at a very early stage in the interests of the future students; ideally at the time when the work and study contract is signed.
