Prof. Dr. Anna-Lena Menn hat seit September 2022 an der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg die Professur für Ingenieurmathematik und Optimierung technischer Systeme inne. Zu ihren Forschungsexpertisen gehören Model Based Systems Engineering, Nachhaltige Mobilität sowie die Modellbildung, Auslegung und besonders die Wirkungsgradoptimierung elektrischer Antriebsstränge.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, TREE scholar Dominik Wilde successfully defended his dissertation titled "High-Order Lattice Boltzmann Methods for Simulation of Compressible Flows" at the University of Siegen and was awarded the highest distinction (Summa cum Laude) for his doctoral degree.

Prof. Dr. Melcher präsentierte am 07.12.2023 auf der TREE-Leitungssitzung seinen Vortrag zur Berücksichtigung von Normen bei Forschungsanträgen und -projekten. Seine Ausführungen bieten entscheidende Empfehlungen im Umgang mit Normen im Forschungsumfeld. Gültig für alle Disziplinen, von Ingenieurs- bis zu Geisteswissenschaften, zeigt der Vortrag die Beziehung zu internationalen Normen auf.

BRS Motorsport again presents new teaching methods at IEEE EDUCON
At this year's IEEE EDUCON in May, three members of the BRS Motorsport team in Salmiya, Kuwait presented another teaching method that takes extra-curricular engagement as a starting point for new curricular elements. As in the past, the contribution emerged from activities of the Race Academy around Prof. Dr. Dirk Reith, the team's Faculty Advisor.
