Welcome to the online presentation of the Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, University of Applied Sciences. On this website, you will find information on our offers for students, our general and subject-specific services for students and our know-how in tuition, research, counselling and transfer for close cooperation with partners from academia, business and industry, politics and society.
International, innovative, networked and committed to the leitmotif of sustainability - this is the challenge that our students and graduates rise up to just as much as our employees. In 1995, i.e. shortly after the federal government offices had moved from Bonn to Berlin, our University was founded on the joint initiative of the federal parliament of Germany (Bundestag), the parliament of the German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landtag NRW) and the federal state government of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesregierung NRW) as an integral part of an agreement to compensate Bonn for its loss of status as capital of Germany. Ever since then, the University has been undergoing continuous development.
We hold the view that those who want to be top of the league continuously have to ask themselves whether or not they still meet the requirements and challenges of the present and the future. For us, this means: we want to become even more innovative, even more international and even better linked with each other. To achieve this goal, we need you because you represent what our University stands for: you as our cooperation partner, you as a person who aks questions and gives us constructive feedback. This is how you contribute to our development and exchange of information. No matter whether you are an applicant or a parent, self-employed, an academic or otherwise interested: it is your inspiration, your criticism, your wishes, but also your positive feedback that are very welcome to us.

The Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (H-BRS)
H-BRS is a dynamic university on three campuses: Sankt Augustin, Rheinbach and Hennef. Our enthusiastic professors and research associates are involved in both teaching and research, and we also have lecturers from the fields of business, industry and academia. Our constantly expanding range of courses includes degree courses in the fields of Business Administration, Computer Science, Technical Journalism/PR, Engineering, Applied Natural Sciences and Social Insurance Management. The headquarters and administrative offices of the University are located in Sankt Augustin.
