Welcome first semester Materials Science and Sustainabilty Methods (MSc)

We are looking forward to welcoming you personally on Monday, 30 September 2024 at the Rheinbach campus (Building H, Room HU04, Von-Liebig-Straße 8, 53359 Rheinbach). From 12 p.m. to 16 p.m., your programme director Prof. Dr. Johannes Steinhaus and his team will provide you with important information about the start of your studies and the course of your studies, as well as a safety briefing. Your presence is therefore compulsory.

We have compiled the important steps you need to take first in a checklist with information for first-semester students on our website. To ensure a smooth start to your studies, please work through this checklist step by step. Except for Step 4: “Participation in the LEA course” the checklist also applies to MSc freshers. This page will be updated and extended continuously, so make sure to check it regularly. The concrete planning for the first weeks of the semester is currently in full swing. Please understand that we cannot yet provide you with a timetable. You will receive a timetable by e-mail in good time before the start of your studies.
